EYE AND MOUTH PROTECTION

DO NOT BE A COMPLETE IDIOT! YOU ONLY HAVE TWO EYES. LOOKING COOL WHILE PLAYING AND WEARING CHEAP EYE PROTECTION IS A STUPID WAY TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE EXPLAINING TO PEOPLE WHY YOU ARE PARTIALLY BLIND!.

EYE AND MOUTH PROTECTION MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ON THE FIELD AND TARGET RANGE.

Always wear eye protection in the form of goggles, masks, or shooting glasses, or safety glasses. Must meet ANSI Z871 standards and wrap around the face.

Regular prescription glasses are NOT acceptable as safety eyewear.

The lens frame must be sturdy enough to keep the lens in place during play.

Violators will be asked to leave the property with no refund issued.

SHOOTING SAFETY

FPS LIMITS AND MINIMUM ENGAGEMENT

All players must be willing to have their weapons chronographed for "FPS".
Guns must be chronographed during the sign-in period, a chronograph measures how fast the BB is coming out of the barrel.

If asked to be spot chronographed you must comply or leave.

The accepted field FPS limits for all guns in use is shown below. All guns FPS are based on an initial chrono testing with .20 gram BBs. If your gun is unable to chronograph legal you will not be able to use that weapon.

Violators will be asked to leave the property with no refund issued.

NOTE: THESE ARE HARD LIMITS, THERE IS NO CUSHION

425 FPS Maximum for AEG's

450 FPS Maximum for SAW’s

500 FPS Maximum for Sniper/DMR Rifles

All pistols 425 FPS

HPA

375 FPS Maximum for rifle

400 FPS Maximum for SAW's

450 Maximum for Sniper/DMR

375 Maximum for Pistols

All guns are subject to a chronograph test at any time deemed necessary by the staff or referees.

Any modifications made to your gun after being chronographed found to increase your FPS,will result in your immediate and permanent removal from the game.

A Sniper rifle is one that can ONLY BE MADE TO SHOOT SINGLE FIRE. If your gun can be switched to FULLY AUTO, it DOES NOT QUALIFY as a SNIPER RIFLE.

HPA Guns

All HPA guns will chrono with .20 and be no more than 375 fps at time tourney lock is installed. They MUST have their regulator locked and inspected by a staff member before it will be allowed to be on the field. Changing the FCU does NOT make it a DMR. (There will be exceptions to this rule based on the easy and accessibility of the FCU)

NO MP5's, M-16’s, regular AK-47’s or non SAW weapons with just a box mag slapped on it....that is NOT a SAW.
To be a faithful recreation a SAW must be as cosmetically similar as possible to the original gun.

Engagement Distances

AEG’s and PISTOLS 0 foot minimum engagement

SAW’s 25 foot minimum engagement

SNIPER’s 50 foot minimum engagement

AT NO TIME SHALL SPEED REDUCERS BE ALLOWED to decrease any gun's fps to fall under fps limits. After guns are chronographed and tagged, do not change out springs, gearbox nor perform any other modification to make your gun hot (over the Field's fps limits). If you are caught doing so, you will be banned from the Field.

6mm plastic BBs are the ONLY ones allowed. METAL BB’S ARE PROHIBITED.

Players may only discharge their weapons at the target range or on the playing field.

Shooting through small cracks and holes of any structure and/or bunker is prohibited. The shooter is not presenting himself/herself as a target, thus, creating an 'unfair advantage' over an opponent.

While head shots count, players are asked not to intentionally target another player’s head.

When entering a building try semi-auto. There is NO need to enter and spray the entire building just because you are scared.

NO BLIND FIRING

BLIND FIRE:

Blind fire is defined as simply firing without recognizing what you are firing at. Blind fire includes but is not limited to: firing around corners without aiming; ducking under a window while firing through it; using a team member as a shield while shooting. In essence, if you can not put physical eyes on the target and its background, you are blind firing. Blind firing inside a doorway into a building will NOT be considered a kill of anyone in a room if a ref sees it. You must present yourself as a target to your opponent.

Violators will be asked to leave the property with no refund issued.

NO HOSING

HOSING:

Hosing is unnecessarily long sustained bursts of more than 15-20 rounds at a time. Even for support weapons this is not allowed. Short controlled bursts should be used to allow opponents to call themselves out.

Violators will be asked to leave the property with no refund issued.

Hits and Cheating

If you know yourself to have a problem with honesty, please do everyone a favor and stay home. Airsoft is a game that is dependent on honorable players for its survival.  Cheating will not be tolerated.

All integrity violations and non calling of “hits” will be dealt with swiftly and severely. Failure to or non compliance with calling hits will result in an immediate ejection from that day’s game event. NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

WHAT HITS COUNT?

FRIENDLY HITS DO COUNT! All body hits (from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet) count. We discourage head shots but head shots count. Don’t deliberately shoot someone in the head/face, especially from a short distance. If that is all they are exposing however, they are subject to be shot in that area, everyone should be aware.

GUN HITS DO NOT COUNT. EVERY OTHER HIT ON YOUR PERSON OR EQUIPMENT YOU ARE WEARING DOES COUNT AS A KILL HIT.

Airosft is a game of HONOR above anything else. We all love to win, but this is NOT an online game where you can be a dork and hide behind your keyboard anonymously on the internet. This is NOT Call of Duty. You CAN NOT CHEAT HERE AND EXPECT TO GET AWAY WITH IT. When you get shot, it is because someone sees you and IS SHOOTING YOU. People know you have been hit and when you just shrug it off and keep playing, you INSTANTLY show everyone around you that you are a CHEATING TWIT and people will remember you for that.

By the same token, understand that you are firing PLASTIC BBs. They may look like real guns, but they are nowhere near them. Just because you put half a magazine downrange at someone does NOT mean you necessarily hit them. People who do that then start complaining or hollering "YER HIT! CALL YER HITS!" are almost as bad as the cheating twits are. If you feel someone is NOT calling their hits, big a big boy and talk to them with respect.

CALL YOUR HITS!!!

When struck by a BB yell hit, hold your hand or gun in the air so the individual shooting at you knows to stop, then immediately put your red rag on your head. Gun hits DO NOT count and neither do ricochets, everything else does.

• Hits are defined as any BB strike on your person or gear.
• Friendly Fire counts! Check your targets!
• If two players fire simultaneously and both are hit, BOTH players are out, not the player who says “hit” first.
• Knife kills are ONLY allowed with a rubber training knife.
• Knife kills are a gentile tap. No jabs, stabs, swipes or throwing.
• Ricochets DO NOT count as a hit.
• When hit, immediately cry out ‘Hit!’ as loud as you can, raise your weapon in the air, and place your red rag on your head. This will help prevent you from being lit up a second time.
• If you see a player get hit on your team, but he doesn’t feel it, let him know.
Dead men do not talk, give away positions or do anything other than be dead.

BEHAVIOR ON AND OFF THE FIELD

FIGHTING, VERBAL THREATS, INAPPROPRATE LANGUAGE AND/OR CONTACT IS ABSOLUTLY PROHIBITED

NO PHYSICAL CONTACT

NO CONTACT:

There shall be no contact from any player while at The Misfits Field. This includes, but not limited to; shoving, pushing, knocking someone down, hitting, or kicking. The sport of airsoft is a non-contact sport. Aggressively, pushing an opponent, may only serve to accelerate an all ready intense situation.

Fighting or any aggressive physical contact will result in law enforcement being called.

Out of control tempers will not be tolerated.

Violators are subject to immediate EJECTION from the property.

INTIMIDATING OR ABUSIVE LANGUAGE IS PROHIBITED:

No profanity, name calling, or slurs against anyone’s race, color, national origin, family members, teams or equipment will be tolerated. Guests wearing clothing with offensive wording or images on them will be asked to remove the garment.

Violators will be asked to leave the property.

SMOKING, DRUGS, ETC.

NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE ALLOWED ANYWHERE ON SITE.

No smoking on the playing field or target range. Smoking is allowed, be respectful of others!

Anyone engaging in these activities or who is impaired will be ejected from the field.

Law enforcement will be called.

Repeat violators will be banned from the facility permanently.

SHOW GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP

Respect other players, animals, buildings, civilians, etc. Pick up your trash and place it into the proper containers. Please keep the Field clean!
AIRSOFT IS A BIG BOY AND GIRL SPORT. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR AGE IS, IF YOU ARE PLAYING WITH US ON THE FIELD, WE EXPECT YOU TO CONDUCT YOURSELF AS A PERSON WITH SOME COMMON SENSE AND COMMON DECENCY WHEN IT COMES TO PLAYING.

KNIFE KILLS:

The use of 'Training Knifes', 'Airsoft Knifes' or 'Home-made Replica Training Knifes' are permitted on the field. NEVER use a real knife during any airsoft games.(Common sense, here.) When conducting a 'KNIFE KILL', on your opponent, lightly touch them with your 'Training Knife'. Do not use excessive force when conducting a 'KNIFE-KILL'.

GRENADES:

Plastic easter egg and ping pong ball grenades are prohibited!

Grenades are permitted on the Field. They can be anything from the 'AI Tornados' that spew out hundreds of bbs when detonated, Thunder Bs that make a loud boom. We do allow certain types of "homemade" grenades. ASK FIRST!

Always throw underhand and yell out, "Grenade!" when deploying your grenade.

NEVER throw overhand. Do not throw any grenades through the 'imaginary' roofs of any building structure; any such throw does not count and it will be removed from the field until the end of game.

NEVER throw over barricades, always around and beside.

If a grenade lands in front of a bunker or building, the players behind it are 'safe'.

If a grenade goes into a room, EVERYONE inside is dead. A wall is the ONLY thing that will protect you. in that circumstance.

The kill radius for all grenades is 15 feet from the point in which the grenade detonates. Any grenade shall be used once per/game. DO NOT pick up a grenade and use it a second time during a game.

SMOKE BOMBS AND/OR FIREWORKS

Do NOT throw smoke bombs AT people! They are made for cover not attacking.

Fireworks are ONLY allowed if cleared by The Staff or Referee before the game. Firecrackers are not considered grenades they are simply noise distractions.
